This is the last reported status, not a live sensor. Open Charge Map is a register that site owners and drivers report into. Most points round here do not carry live plug-in-use data, so "working" means the last report said so, and could be recent or months old — the date on each one says which. An invented "free right now" would be the worst thing on this page.
