Weymouth has had no Tourist Information Centre since Dorset Council withdrew the funding in 2021. Nothing replaced it. This is that job, rebuilt.

There is no ferry from Weymouth. Condor moved to Poole in 1997 and the last Weymouth sailing was in 2015. Channel Islands crossings go from Poole and Portsmouth. This note exists because people still arrive at the Quay with a suitcase and no other Weymouth website tells them.

Condor moved to Poole in 1997 and stopped calling at Weymouth entirely in 2015. Funding to rebuild the berth was never secured. People still arrive at the Quay with a suitcase, and no other Weymouth website tells them.

None of this earns a penny, and that is the point. Live buses, tides, parking and toilets are the reason someone opens this at nine in the morning in February, when the visitors have gone and the town still needs a website that works. It is also the strongest argument in the room with the Town Council or the BID, because it is the service Weymouth lost and nobody rebuilt.
